11Feb: God bless! DAVEE had second transfusion and is doing fine.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For those who wish to make a monetary contribution to help in Davee's treatment and surgery, do transfer over to the rescuer's account POSB Saving 055-27043-0. No amount at all is too small, and every single cent counts!
Please help to spread the words...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are URGENTLY seeking for a foster for Davee, a 4 year old female local breed dog who needs daily administration of medication, plus cleaning of her wound twice a day with simple bandaging. The big wound is likely caused by a dirty and inadequate environment she is currently living in. To help with her recovery, it will impossible to send her back to the current place. However, if we could not find a foster within the next 2 days, she will have to be send back to her current place and her treatment would be wasted and her wound may even worsen. Sad
Feedback from the vet assistant – "Davee is a good girl, she will sit quietly for you to clean her wound."
Davee has a cheerful and gentle spirit. She is inquisitive and good nature. She deserves a second chance to enjoy life to the fullest. However, before we could put her up for adoption, she needs our help to bring her back to good health. If you could help Davee & give her the opportunity to live her life, please write to joyeng1@gmail.com
Thanks.
This is an URGENT APPEAL to everyone out there. DAVEE needs a foster home URGENTLY! PLease help to spread the words around. Thanks!
Background: Davee is part of the five dogs residing in a home. Max and Zoe have been removed from the environment by a rescuer.
Tick fever plagues her and is suspected to be linked to the open wound. With low PVC, her wound is bleeding and this could lead to bacteria infection.
Still, Davee does not show any improvement from the tick fever treatment.
Vet's prognosis is not optimistic but treatment ensues.
Davee is a four-yr-old female who requires daily administration of medication, plus cleaning of wound 2x/day with simple bandaging.
Sits quietly to allow wound cleaning and gentle in spirit.
Side view: the gaping, crater-like wound on Davee's lower back can't be more obvious
Top view: a good part of Davee's coat is shaven off. Her crater-like wound is stark to the human eye
A close-up of the wound
Sweet DAVEE. So friendly and gentle in spirit.
Just a sudden tot went thru my head. If we have 1000 members here, everyone donate $1, Davee will have additional $1000 for whatever she may need. I'm sure many of us should have no problem taking out $1 at one time. Thus everytime, should there be those in need, everyone just forked out $1, this world will be a better place for all in need, isnt it?
Honestly, I may have done fostering job before, I may love animals. But this round, I questioned myself over and over again, and I realise I do not have the courage to care for Davee nor do I have the courage to face all the ordeals with her. I'm a coward in this sense as she's so happily fighting to live on but I actually felt scared when I saw and read about what she went thru.
I applaud those who are with Davee for all I can do is so insignificant. If what I had done for Miko is worth some recognition, then those people who are with Davee are worth at least 10times or 100times more. Its so sad why the poor animals have to suffer, when they have never ask for anything in the 1st place.
Its just my personal thoughts, you may not need to agree with me or accept what I said, just hold your furbies close as we wont know what may happen the very next minute.
If you wish to donate to Davee’s healing fund. Kindly email myself at strathmorecats@hotmail.com or J at Joyeng1@gmail.com any amount is appreciated and the accounts will be clearly updated.
You could bring hope to Davee even if you cant donate monetarily, a home environment will help her heal better and your precious TLC and prayers will be so precious and priceless.
thanks. j has replied my email.
however, i could not foster davee as i am handful with two doggies. Will like to contribute in terms of finances though not much.
heard davee now is staying at M & M? i guess best is fosterer does not keep any doggies at this moment as tick fever can spread.
sigh, i used to help an abandoned dog which was also put up and ended dead at M&M due to cancer. Memory flashes back which makes me quite hestitant to go back to M&M for visitation.
